Apr 16, 2017 - When I tried to install java on an empty computer, the 64 bit version did not go through (error 1603) and I realized the problem didn't come from an old java install.
I had made this tutorial to show you that how to solve the Java error code 1603 while installing Java components. So, to resolve the Java error code 1603, first uninstall all the component of Java like Java Runtime Environment, Java Development kit etc. To uninstall Java Component first go to the 'Control Panel' then go to the 'programs' then go to 'uninstall a program'. Now, in the program list find all the java components and uninstall all the components one by one. After uninstalling all the java components Restart Your Computer system.
After Restarting your Computer 'go to the java help center' through the java error code 1603. OR Go to your Internet Browser and search 'java error code 1603'. Then go to the link 'Error 1603' by the official website of www.java.com now, you need to download an offline installer. So, scroll down the page and you can see a red blinking text 'Offline installer' click on it. Now, in the new page click on 'Agree and Start free Download' to download the offline installer. Now download the offline installer.
Before installing the 'offline installer' disconnect your Computer's Internet Connection. After that click on the setup of the offline installer and then follow the instructions and inastall it. Now, you can see that your java component will be successfully installed and not showing any error code 1603.
